The Inner Process

Part of The Way | Four Workshops of Alchemical Transformation

The alchemists described transformation through a symbolic sequence of stages: Nigredo, Albedo, Citrinitas, and Rubedo. These stages were never merely chemical experiments. They were maps of the inner journey — the process through which the human soul encounters shadow, discovers clarity, awakens insight, and ultimately embodies wholeness.

The Inner Process is a series of four workshops designed to explore these stages in a practical and contemplative way.

The Workshops Explore

Across four sessions, participants will explore:

• the symbolic language of the alchemical phases
• the psychological and spiritual dimensions of transformation
• guided reflection using the prompt journals
• practical ways to recognize these phases within your own life

These workshops are not about teaching doctrine. They are about learning to recognize the movements of transformation already unfolding within you.

Structure

Each session corresponds to one stage of the Great Work:

• Nigredo — the encounter with shadow and dissolution
• Albedo — clarity, reflection, and purification
• Citrinitas — illumination and awakened awareness
• Rubedo — integration and embodied wisdom

Participants may choose to work alongside the four prompt journals of The Alchemical Way.
